Will it affect my manufacturer warranty?
No. UK competition law protects your right to have your car serviced by an independent garage during the manufacturer warranty. A manufacturer cannot refuse warranty cover just because the servicing was not done by a franchised dealer. The work must follow the manufacturer's schedule, use parts of matching quality and be properly recorded.
